Answer

I understand that the Mobile Health Unit run by the Welcome Organisation brings healthcare to people affected by homelessness ‘where they are at’. The Welcome organisation works alongside healthcare professionals within the Belfast Inclusion Health Service and the Western Trust to provide a range of services including drop-in clinics, vaccine boosters, sexual health checks and ‘on the ground’ healthcare and more.

The needs of those experiencing homelessness are often complex and I am fully supportive of services which help improve the accessibility of healthcare for this cohort.
