Answer
My Department is working with the Public Health Agency (PHA) on an evaluation of long COVID services. This includes an assessment of the ongoing demand for services; a review of current service provision; and, taking cognisance of service developments elsewhere in the UK. The evaluation is anticipated to be completed by early summer 2024 and where there is a new service model, this will be subject to normal business case approvals.
As per above, my Department is working with the PHA on this evaluation.
