Answer
The Provision of Health Services to Persons Not Ordinarily Resident Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2015 (‘the PNOR Regulations’) prescribes how health services shall be made available to visitors to Northern Ireland at a charge and sets out the services and categories of visitor that are exempt from charge. My Department is currently undertaking a review of the PNOR Regulations.
The issue of access to healthcare for migrant survivors of domestic abuse is being considered as part of this review, along victims of torture, female genital mutilation or sexual violence. It is planned that the legislation resulting from this review will update the PNOR Regulations before the end of the current mandate.
