Answer
Ending violence against women and girls remains a clear priority for the Executive.
We were pleased to launch the second Delivery Plan on Tuesday 21 April which builds on progress to date and sets out clear, measurable actions for the next phase. We heard first hand from grassroots organisations and community groups, how the work underway is raising awareness and having a real impact on the ground.
Work has progressed across all six outcomes of the Strategic Framework, with a focus on prevention. Over £5 million has been provided through the Local and Regional Change Funds, supporting community and regional prevention activities. This has enabled structured programmes to be rolled out in communities, education settings and workplaces.
We continue to work collaboratively with Executive colleagues to deliver the outcomes set out in the Strategic Framework to End Violence against Women and Girls.
