To ask the First Minister and deputy First Minister to outline plans for the continuation of the Urban Villages Initiative.

The Urban Villages programme has been successful in working with communities to develop Strategic Frameworks and having a presence on the ground through Local Area Teams. There have been many positive outcomes such as new play parks, community shared spaces and learning events. A copy of the latest Programme Evaluation is available in the Assembly Library

TEO officials have developed a range of options on the future of the programme. We look forward to updating Members once we have considered how best to continue with our aim of promoting thriving places and achieving the best outcomes for all our citizens.
